To Mr. Adam Smith, Mr. A. Marshall and Mr. J.J. Rosseau:
I apologize for intentionally and unintentionally blaming you for the mental, financial, emotional and educational damage the field of Economics has done to me. All this time I should be blaming Mr. Alfred Marshall.
Mr. Marshall, while I admire your determination in creating all those supply demand graphs, I am still bitter about that 4th year examination that I failed completely because of it. Please understand, thank you.
Mr. Rosseau, If my teacher is right and you are the most handsome philospher we will be discussing, I hope you don't mind my saying that you don't look like who I thought you would. I would also like to say that I was struck by your philosophy and that I believe that there is some truth that civiliztion in itself corrupts society. I have once thought that maybe I would be better living in a primitive world. But i just cannot live without the internet. I, like you, contradict myself. Thank you for living your life surrounded by sugar mommies, and for continuously sleeping with them to be able to read and finish the 22 volumes of the Thomasian Philosophy and other books(chapter by chapter might i add), I will surely remember your philosophy for that. I remember facts if they are slightly injected with controversy and flair. May I pass my next exam because of it.
Discussing your philosophies in class ended my happy day happy.
And yours,
an inquisitive student
Thank You Lord. Now I sincerely regret failing that first exam. But our professor himself said that he did make the second exam easier, so I would like to think that my failure isn't entirely my fault.
Thank You Quaker Oats Instant Oatmeal (in strawberry flavor). You keep the baby silent and chewing when we need it.

is it a smart people thing?
i just took it upon myself to inform you friends to not hate adam smith for economics. much of what he talked about was in fact, interesting and philosophical. none of those supply-demand quantities.adam smith is innocent.

Re: is it a smart people thing?
actually adam smith is interesting. free market are pretty amazing. but for the record, im still not sold out to capitalism inspite of his genius.August 31 2005, 16:39:29 UTC 6 years ago
Re: is it a smart people thing?
i am amazed at this snippet of info my brilliant professor imparted with us.there was actually a study/thesis/whatever you call it that proposed a refutal of the theory of equilibrium, it was nominated for a nobel prize.
he then posed this question: supposing that study was proven true, what and how many branches of sciences (social and natural) will crash down?
bye bye economics then (amongst many other things). but that would be cool. i envisioned a society with people running aroud seemingly having lost their self-identity. but that's just me exaggerating things.

Re: is it a smart people thing?
haha that would be fun.then we'd have talks/convos/arguments that have things like, "how do YOU know? nothing's equal/balanced in this world anymore!"
we know nothing! we know nothing! AAAAAAH!

Re: is it a smart people thing?
yes. we must pretend that we know not of such things. we derive stability and security from the thought of equality.September 6 2005, 22:54:13 UTC 6 years ago
didn't we say i should stop? well here it goes.
yeah. if that happened, marriages would break and relationships would be non existent. we couldn't say we find security and complete ourselves with others anymore.we won't be friends. if nothing's equal, one of us is going to be slave-like.

Re: didn't we say i should stop? well here it goes.
we won't be friends.that's a sad thought. sad enough to make me suddenly stop and lie down on the street and not more, just like in the radiohead video.
but then again, there is no need for absolute equality in friendship. we aren't the same in every aspect down to the letter. in the end, it might just explain why friends complement each other.

Re: didn't we say i should stop? well here it goes.
so we refute equality! well the absolute kind at least. haha.we rock. LoL
